In October 2022, 5000 school students joined forces to deliver the high energy musical, School of Rock, to audiences in Sydney. This giant production was performed in front of 20,000 students and parents over several nights at Sydney’s Qudos Arena. Based on the hit movie of the same name, this Andrew Lloyd Weber musical follows the story of Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. The show follows Dewey as he tries to get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school's headmistress finding out.
